Hi I'm Heriberto

I grew up from Philadelphia. I have been a member since I was 5 years old. I'm an IT guy.

About Me

I work for a Cardiac & Respiratory research company. I enjoy working on computers- especially coding & reverse engineering. I have 2 kids. I've been married for 14 years. I enjoy travelling, playing X-Box games with my son, camping, and watching TV. I am an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

Once I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it, I knew the gospel principles were true, and I feel the Holy ghost so I know it is also real. I know our Heavenly Father has a plan for us and loves us. I really like "The Family: a Proclamation to the World" and am glad that families can be together forever. Without the gospel in my life, it would be harder to handle my daily challenges.

How I live my faith

I help people at my church who are having computer problems, or other issues with technology. I might fix Wifi connectivity issues for someone who is trying to teach a lesson, or help a member whose home computer is broken. I also help out with the Boy Scouts one night a week. My wife and I used to be Family History consultants.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Heriberto
No. The desire to serve has to come from the heart. Heavenly Father's message needs to be shared, and I chose to go on a mission to spread the word. I wanted to tell others the truth, so I raised my own money to travel to Argentina when I was 18 years old. Show more Show less
