Hi I'm Keshele

I'm a college student. When I'm not studying or having fun with friends, I like to paint and draw. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in the middle of my college experience and I am loving every minute of it. Like most of my peers, I'm just trying to figure out who I am and where I'm going. I love learning, but I still struggle to find the desire to study. When I'm not studying or working as a cook, I love to go on adventures with my friends. Sometimes our adventures take us hiking up the canyon, cheering on the basketball team, or just dancing around the kitchen making cookies. When I go home for the weekend, I love to spend time with my parents and five younger siblings. We are amazing teasers and can always find something to laugh about. We love to play games, ride bikes, play hide-and-go-seek, and eat ice cream together. Any other spare moments I have are usually spent being creative. Acrylic paints are my favorite creative medium, but I also enjoy drawing, chalk pastel, and playing the piano. My favorite things about life are the memories you create on a daily basis. Everyday should have something to smile about. Sometimes, its the impromptu sock-war with my siblings after we finish the laundry. Other times, its getting hopelessly lost finding someone's house. Or maybe its just laughing at your roommates silly joke that's only funny because you have stayed up way too late studying.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I have attended LDS church services since I was a baby. That, however, is not why I am still a member today. I have stayed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because this gospel brings me peace and joy that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. Because of the gospel, I know many plain and precious truths that greatly influence my life. For example, I know that families can be together forever, we can always turn to the Savior, repent, and become clean again, and I know that Heavenly Father loves all His children and hears their prayers. In short, being a member of the church makes my life better and more meaningful than it would have been without the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing small and simple things everyday. I do my best to start and end every day with a prayer. When I do, my day always runs more smoothly. I try to read from the scriptures for at least a few minutes every day. Throughout the day, I do my best to follow the Savior by being kind to those around me, smiling, serving others, and having a good attitude. Every Sunday, I attend church to partake of the sacrament, feel the spirit, and learn more about the gospel. The temple is one of my favorite places to be. I love learning about the covenants I have made and the opportunity to leave the world behind for a few hours. This gospel and my love for the Savior guides almost every aspect of my life.
