Hi I'm Sol Lopez

I was born in Mexico but grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a sophomore in college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work and attend school at Salt Lake Community College. I work in the Contact Center. I want to be an orthodontist and want to get my major in psychology. I love to be outside, whether it's going for a walk, hiking or just hanging out at the park.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both converts to the church so my siblings and I were born into it. Unlike my siblings, I struggled with my testimony. Ever since I was little, I just didn't like going to church; I hated sitting in sacrament, I hated listening to my teachers and I especially hated singing in primary. It wasn't that I didn't believe in the church, it was just that I didn't really care about it. It wasn't until I went to EFY in 2011 that I gained my own testimony. As soon as I got home, I read the whole Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I received a confirmation that this Gospel is the true gospel and that this is the true church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend my home ward and I have a calling in the Primary. I teach two classes-- the 10-11 year olds and the 4-5 year olds. They are all such sweethearts and I love my calling!
