Hi I'm Dexter

I love the Utah Jazz. I enjoy playing chess. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports and all things related. Basketball, football, tennis, and golf are some of my favorite hobbies. I'm finishing up my bachelor's degree in healthcare administration right now and plan on attending graduate school this fall. My wife and I just welcomed our little girl into our lives. She has brought us pure joy, along with less sleep.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a Mormon because I prayed to God to know if this was what He wanted for me in my life. That prayer was answered with a feeling of overwhelming love and peace. I continue to be a Mormon because of the happiness I feel. I have seen what living the teachings of this church can do. I know this church holds the answers to life's hardest questions.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by example. Giving people rides to school, helping others move, and saying hello to others I pass are just a few ways I have found to serve others.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

I find happiness in my family. The support and love I receive from my family helps me overcome hard times. Families also stretch us at times. We learn to forgive, serve, and love on a deeper level. The family unit is vital to God's plan for everyone on earth. Show more Show less
