Hi I'm Andrew Dax

I live in Mesa and studying Kinesiology and Exercise Science for Personal Training and Physio-Therapy! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I live in Mesa, AZ, I have three sisters and one brother that I love very much! Family is very important to me because people will come and go but family will always be there for you! I love sports and everything that is included in that, especially playing, I practiced mix martial arts, wrestled and play football at Southern Virginia University! I love to exercise and push my body to limits I could have never have imagined. I want to become a Physio-Therapist and Personal Trainer and help others that way and maybe own my own practice and gym one day! Many people are very intimidated by me due to my large in stature size but little do they know that im the biggest teddy bear. I love to laugh and have fun with anyone I come into contact with, whats life if you cant enjoy the ride? Ive worked with special needs individuals for seven years now and even though there have been trying times, Ive loved every minute of it! They have taught me more than i could even hope to teach them! They have such special spirits that you cant help but love and many of them are my best friends that I deeply care about. Seeing them learn and grow before my eyes is very accomplishing to me. I love the New England Patriots with a passion, I am a die hard fan. They are a big powerhouse team that no one can deny. Fall is by far the best time of the year because of the NFL and College football!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS Church but it was always something I just did, and didnt understand why. I never grew a testimony of its truthfulness and when I had to stand strong for myself I faltered, I couldnt do it. I stopped practicing and soon I was investigating other churches. They all seemed good but lacked what i was searching for. I gave up and started down a dark path as Satan grew hold of me. Looking back at that path I can see that God tried many times to show me the right way and I was still blinded until some men assaulted me and I ended up in the hospital and bed ridden for two weeks. As I lay there the Holy Ghost then had chance to whisper to me what God had wanted for me all this time, to come back to his fold. I was recruited to play football at Southern Virginia University, little did I know that it was a private LDS school and would help me realize that what I was searching for was in front of me the whole time. As i started going to church again, praying and reading my scriptures I could feel myself coming closer to Heavenly Father and I could feel that he loves me very much! It was at school there that that same Spirit told me that I needed to share what gave me so much joy and peace in my life, I needed to become a missionary, which I am today! That road was long and hard with many set backs but who I was a year ago isnt who I am now. My life has meaning and I am on a path that will bring me happiness and success. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has changed my life. This church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my example, by living the things that I am taught by going to church every week, reading my scriptures, praying to our Heavenly Father and striving to be a better person everyday. I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Calgary Canada, even though it is very hard I love every second of it! I love to bring joy and peace to others lives by sharing with them this Gospel.
