Hi I'm Dan

Born in Utah, living in LA. Served a mission for my church in Peru's jungles, mountains, and coasts. I'm Mormon.

About Me

I'm a life enthusiast. Enjoying life in any and all circumstances is a big priority to me. This hasn't been too hard recently as I've recently graduated from a wonderful university, started a great job in finance, and I live a short ten minutes from the beach. Starting with amazing friends and family, a plethora of restaurants and interesting people in LA, and ending by playing and watching football and basketball, how can a guy complain? Currently, I am looking forward to adding a wife and kids to this great mix in the very near future.

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot deny, or describe perfectly, the fire and drive in my heart that this church is God's true church. Through the experiences I've had and the experiences I continue to have as I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, pray, sacrifice to serve others, and strive to be like my Savior, I continue to have a peaceful confidence that what I know and do are of God. I have been forgiven. I have felt God's love. I have received a witness that God lives. His Son is my Savior and He sacrificed Himself for you and me. Nothing can derail me from this happy faith I feel and live.

How I live my faith

Living my faith starts and ends on my knees. Everything in between is possible only after my relationship with my Heavenly Father is consistently fortified. How I strive to be kind to everyone, how I remain constant with Jesus Christ's teachings, how I stay close to my family, and how I serve in my church can only mean something significant and lasting to me if I first have a loving relationship with my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. In my church we are given opportunities to visit other individuals who are part of the congregation. This inspired program allows for us to care for and serve one another. I feel God's love and I develop a greater love and respect for others as I serve those I visit.
