Hi I'm Bradley Coleman

I grew up in Utah, I am a eagle scout, I love my family, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am just an ordinary guy. I love to play the guitar. I love to hang out with my friends and family and go on random adventures. I love to write my own stories. I love to play puzzle games. It is a pleasure and a great privilege to be able to help others when ever i can. I love Boy scouts of america and it has made a big part of my life. I am a Eagle Scout, I also Love teaching young Scouts as a COPE instructor and teaching them is one of the most rewarding thing i have ever done. I love to eat a lot of home made bread, and anything that me and my younger siblings invent with food and desserts. I love the rain and i love the mountains. I love reading books but mostly reading any thing that is about quantum physics. I love working out in the yard. I love to spend time with my family, we go to church every Sunday and any church activities through out the week. It's been the greatest blessing for me and my family to know we are able to be together forever. I've learned to rely on The Lord and with his help and the help of family I know that you can over come any challenges that come into our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up just like any one else. I have a wonderful family, and have always been blessed with food on the table and a roof over my head. In a loving environment. As I grew there came many challenges and consequences that came into affect from others actions. I did not understand and many times would just be unable to do anything, I would sit for many hours and just think why me, and why them? The years went by and I would do what I could to forget and push away any memory of the past. As I did so I became numb and almost none emotional. I had given up and became hopeless, and had completely given up, but God thought other wise. He had a plan that I did not see or understand, but was putting into motion and was leading me to. Slowly as life went on, life would add a weight here and then a little there. Eventually when one is being pulled in so many directions they begins to slowly be pushed and pulled down due to the weight of the world. They can no longer run. I at that moment could no longer run and hide from God. I had reached my ends rope and needed strength beyond my own. As I felt that I was going to suffocate under the weight of it all I was brought to my knees. And for the first time in years I truly prayed. I knelt in prayer and gave my whole soul to God that day. It was then that I saw the path with which had been there the whole time. God had guided me and was just waiting for me to turn to him for help. That day God did give me strength and help. I felt unlike anything like it before, it was like a fire, a stove a coal was burning in my chest, I felt as if i could run on forever and far faster than ever before. I saw that the path He led me on had brought me peace and love, and that the peace and love was there the whole way through my journey, I just did not see it at the time. I found my life and who i was and in turn decided I was going to give the rest of my life to God and help others learn of the truth and find the same love and peace I found.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. As i am giving 2 years of my life to strictly just sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. I give of my time and of my talents, to share with others of how they can be with their families together forever. Through the way I live my life, and the way I act by my self and when others are around are the same. I believe that the best way to show my faith is in the way I live my life. The way I help others. I serve others when I see that they need help. Because I am a child of God, I want to do all I can to help others know that they are loved, that they have a bright future and that despite what they have been through they can receive peace and happiness, and forgiveness. Commandments are just mere opportunities to accept blessings into our lives. the more you put into obeying Gods commandments the more blessings one receives. As I go out and talk with strangers on the street and in their houses, all though it is out of my comfort zone many times, I know who they are even though I have never seen them before. They are Children of our Heavenly Father, and I want to share that message with them. As I follow the steps of humility and meekness, one truly begins to understand Christ like love, and Charity, also known as the pure love of Christ. I share that love with others by giving them of my time, energy, strength, and help them on a path that leads them to God and Heaven.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Bradley Coleman
We believe that our bodies are precious gifts from God. They are temples that his spirit can reside. We seek to keep them holy, pure, and clean in every way possible, including what we take I to our bodies. We also believe in Obedience to what God has commanded us. In Doctrine and Covenants 89:1-21 we have been told to withhold from chewing tobacco, drinking alcohol, coffee and tea, illegal drugs. Just like all of Gods commandments, they are opportunitities to accept blessings that are already there if we obey them. God has promised us to have healhy bodies, and we are promised to have his spirit with us. The more of God's spirit we are able to have with us, the greater strength, truth, and light we will have in us to influence ourselves and others to do good. It also teaches us to have self controls, those who learn to keep this commandment gain a self controls that gives great power to do good. Show more Show less
