Hi I'm Kathleen Pau

I am a daughter of a King, who loves me and I love Him. I love this gospel, I am so blessed because of it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an outgoing, loving, kindhearted, 19 year old girl who is on the path of finding joy in her journey. I laugh, sing, eat, and dance ALL the time. I want to become a Pediatric Nurse and I hope to make a difference in this world. I have just been called to serve as a full-time missionary in the Philippines Quezon City Mission and I report to the Philippines Missionary Training Center on July 18th. I am beyond excited to serve my Heavenly Father and the people of the Philippines! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this gospel, but I didn't truly become converted or receive my own testimony until I was about 16 years old. When I turned 16, I received my Patriarchal Blessing, which is a guideline for your life inspired by God, and that was the first time I could feel God's love and the spirit so strongly. Ever since then, I strive every day to always have that same feeling with me. I do so by keeping my covenants with my Heavenly Father, striving to be perfected in Christ, repenting daily, and doing the little things like reading my scriptures everyday and saying my prayers. I continue to follow His gospel because nothing else has made me happier. Being able to feel of God's love, my Savior's love, and the spirit is the best feeling in the world. And to know that no matter what we do, where we go, they are always there for us with open arms is such an amazing and reassuring feeling. I know that God loves me and that He wants what's best for me. He loves all of his children and wants the absolute best for all of us. I know that this gospel is what's best because I can feel it in my heart and that's something I can't deny.

How I live my faith

I am currently a visiting teacher and companions with one of my best friends. I also teach the 9 year old class in Primary. I have learned to love my callings and the people of whom I serve. Although I am a teacher for young children, they seem to teach me more than I could ever teach them and for that, I am grateful. They are such sweet spirits and I am so blessed to be holding this calling in my ward :)
