Hi I'm Miguel

I grew up in Mexico. I love rock climbing. I love learning new things. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I think I'm pretty normal, but I'm very open to the possibility that I'm not :) I like playing guitar, though I'm not very good at it. I love music, all kinds of it. I started rock climbing last year, not all that sure why, but I immediately fell in love with it. I am currently serving a full time mission in Louisiana, and loving every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

The missionaries happened to knock on our door one fateful day when I was still living in Mexico. My mom welcomed them in and we began taking the discussions, soon enough we were baptized, however that's more the how I became a Mormon. I AM (present tence is important to me) a Mormon, because I have inquired of the Lord, I have asked him for guidance and I have felt the peace in my heart that comes from the Holy Ghost testifying of the truthfulness of the Gospel. And that's there everytime I look for it! Jesus once instructed those around him to put His doctrine to the test, that if they would honestly and earnestly strive to do the will of the Father, they would find for themselves the truthfulness of His words. I have found this to be true for myself, when we humble ourselves and earnestly try to seek the will of God; and not our interpretation thereof, we find peace -- we find truth.

How I live my faith

Currently it's pretty easy; as a full time missionary from 6:30 (or sometimes 5:30) in the morning til 10:30 at night my time is devoted to the Lord and the service of His children, my brothers! I share a gospel message with anyone willing to listen and strive to help all around me to better know Jesus Christ, of his atonement and earthly mission, as well as how to come closer to Him through the teachings of His restored gospel.
