Hi I'm Nathan

I love mountain biking, hiking, and spending time my family. I am serving in the México Mérida mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in high school. I am on the school's mountain biking team and like to go canyoneering with my family. I play the clarinet and sing in the school choir. I enjoy playing sports with my friends. There are nine people in my family plus my three in-laws and my five nieces and nephews. I love being member of this church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is at the head of this church and that this church is His. I know this is His church because I have studied the Book of Mormon and I asked Heavenly Father if it is true, and it is. I know this is the true church of God and that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I have knelt where Joseph has knelt and walked where he walked. I know that he was and is a prophet of God. He restored Christ's church to this earth. I know that is true. I also know that only through the covenants made and ordinances received in this church can I return to live with and like God forever with my family. It is through His priesthood restored through Joseph Smith that makes these blessings possible. I know that Christ is my Savior and that He suffered for me so that I can be like Him and my Heavenly Father. He wants me to be happy and be following Him I can be, forever. I love Jesus Christ and my Father in heaven and I want to be like them. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mérida Mexico. I'm serving a mission because I love Jesus Christ and I want to help others come to know their Savior. I try to love as Jesus did and serve the people around me. Focusing on their needs helps me forget my own. I do my best to do what is asked of me by church leaders and our Heavenly Father. I'm not perfect and mess up sometimes, but try to do better every day.
