Hi I'm Heather Loree Twogood

I grew up in Utah. I work 3 jobs and I am preparing to serve a mission in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission.

About Me

I love sharing and talking with people! I've been a member of the LDS church my whole life and I have always LOVED going to church. I have always wanted to serve a mission and have come to know for myself that the gospel makes me happy and that is why I love to share my testimony. Through music and word. I love singing and trying to learn piano. Music has helped me become closer to my Father in Heaven. I love giving service and helping people succeed in the things that they want and need.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the LDS church. I never thought I would have my testimony shaken. But I have had things happen in my life where I didn't know where to turn to and I was and have been able to find peace and comfort through praying and reading the Book of Mormon. About 2 years ago I was 17 and my testimony was not as strong. I was encouraged to read the Book of Mormon and off and on I did. Less than I year ago I decided it was important and though I was slow at reading it when I did finish it I prayed to know that it is the word of God. I cannot even express what joy and comfort I felt. I know with all my heart that the Book of Mormon is the word of God! I know he knows all his children and he is mindful of each and everyone of us. It makes me happy inside and out! I cannot wait to be able to go serve a mission.

How I live my faith

I am a family history consultant, relief society chorister and I am visiting teaching partners with my mother. As Chorister I am to choose the music for Sundays that go with lessons. Family History consultant I teach a class with two others and it is hands on learning and teaching others how to find their family. It makes me feel so good when I do it. I love talking to the ladies in my homeward so it makes it easy to go visiting teaching because I feel they feel comfortable telling me about whats going on and how I can help
