Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a college student at BYU-I, I will soon be leaving on a mission to the California Ventura Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey there, my name is Andrew. I like to play basically any and every sport, but my favorites are basketball and tennis. In high school, I had the chance to compete in the state tennis tournament, and although I did not medal-- it was still great to be there. I also enjoy being in the out doors, it is where I get my time to think through everything going on in my life. The joy of the out doors came as I joined the Boy Scout program. I have earned my Eagle Scout award and I am striving to live in accordance to the ways of an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I first joined because that was what my family all did. I did not really understand exactly what made this church any different from the other ones out there. But as I have grown older and my ability to understand everything around me more, I am glad I followed the example of my family. I know that God lives and cares for each and everyone of us. I know that He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to die for us that there could be a way for us to make it back to Him. Without that great and eternal sacrifice, there would be no way for man to meet the requirements to return to Heaven to live with out Heavenly Father again. I know that God has prepared a way for us to return. I know that he is here for us today, and that is why he has a living prophet on the earth today. I may not be very old and wise, but I know these things to be true without a doubt in my heart. I am very glad to be a member of this church and look forward to having my future grow in it.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher at my church for the young adults in my ward. It is a chance for me to help others understand a little bit more about the gospel, as well as help myself gain a stronger testimony by increasing my understanding of what I prepare to teach to others. I am also preparing to serve a two year mission. In doing so, I will devote all of my time during those two years to sharing what I know to be true with everyone that I come in contact with. I will do this because I know how much this gospel can bless the lives of others and I know this because it has been a blessing in my own life.
