Hi I'm Sofia Pritchard

I'm a sunny southern California girl, turned Georgia peach. I grew up riding motocross. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the second youngest of twelve children. My mother came from a big family and wanted the same for her future. Growing up, I was always a tomboy in a dress. At the age of nine, I moved to Georgia to live with my older sister and her husband because I wanted a change of scenery. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE. In Georgia, I was given so many more opportunities.I've had to learn to work hard to accomplish my goals. Moving to Georgia, by far, strengthened my testimony and my spirit. It also gave me the chance to find my soul mate, best friend and prince charming all in one. I attend BYU-Idaho in the Winter and Spring and honestly could not imagine my life at any other school. Overall, I have been given many blessings in this life!

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, I haven't always known the church was true. For me, it took a lot of prayer and pondering and talking with my Father in Heaven to really know of the truthfulness of this gospel. I've tried out other churches but found that nowhere has the spirit spoken so strongly to me, then in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and has a greater plan for me than I have for myself. Knowing this, and feeling the confirmation that the church and it's teachings are true, I have chosen to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the Bible Belt south, church was ingrained in my mind from the start. In my high school, I was the only member. Honestly, this gave me numerous missionary experiences! Being able to share my beliefs with friends around me made me realize how much I relied on the true teachings of the gospel to guide my conversations. I've been blessed with amazing leadership opportunities in the church which have aided in me keeping true to the faith.
