Hi I'm Nate

I grew up in West Bountiful, Utah. I love to play soccer, and fly-fish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love playing and watching soccer. My high school team and I won our state championship a year ago. I also love to go fly-fishing whenever I have extra time. It's a good thing to do to go and relax and think about things if you need to. I enjoy hiking and backpacking as well, and pretty much anything outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, my story starts with my dad and his determination to find the thing that was missing in his life. He was about 25 and had a vacancy in his life and decided to start seeing the missionaries. He was dating my mom at the time, and when she found out that they didn't share the same faith, she decided to find someone that did share her faith. Well about when that happened, my dad had decided to get baptized, and was. Then he knew he was supposed to marry my mom, so they got married. I know that they were meant to be together. I want you to know that I know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and that through him we can repent of our shortcomings and be forgiven. I know that the Book of Mormon is the truest book on Earth, and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God and did, in fact, translate the Book of Mormon by the power of God. This testimony has gotten me through so many trials and I am so glad to be a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I love to serve the people who need any help whatsoever. It makes me and the people I serve happy. I love to go home teaching with my dad and love getting to know the families that I have the privilege to be able to visit once a month. I also have the opportunity to teach the 16-17 year-olds in Sunday school once a month. That has been a blessing to me and the people I teach. I probably learn more than the youth do. I try to participate and go on camp outs with the scouts in our ward, which is always fun.
