Hi I'm Lauren Gull

I'm currently serving in the Argentina Resistencia Mission. When I return home, I will continue attending BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my freshman year at BYU and loved every minute of it. Utah really does have the greatest snow on Earth, which is great because love skiing. I also love anything to do with water sports--swimming, wake boarding, tubing, you name it! My superpower is the ability to accurately predict the ending of almost any movie. Disney movies are my favorite. My greatest desire is to travel the world. I love seeing new places and experiencing new things. A couple of items from my bucket list: ride a gondola in Venice (check), experience zero gravity, make sushi, swim with dolphins and change someone's life. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know what I want to do... Help people. If I can do that, I will be satisfied with my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I've grown up reading scriptures, praying and going to church, so my belief in this church has been gradually built up for my whole life. Even though I've always believed that this church contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Chirst, as I get older, that belief has been strengthened. I am so grateful to be a part of this church. I know that everything it teaches is true and as I live the teachings, I feel closer and closer to Christ. I know he cares about me individually and that's why he suffered on the cross. I know he will help me through any trial I go through. His gospel brings me more joy, strength, and peace than anything else. I can truly say that it is the key to happiness.

How I live my faith

I'm giving a year and a half of my life to the Lord. My main goal for my mission is to come home without any regrets. Obviously not everyone will accept the gospel, but as long as I give 100% of my energy, I can go home satisfied. I just want to help as many people as I can reach to know that they never have to feel alone, inadequate, broken or lost, because the Lord is there with them and he has the power to fix all of that if they come to him.
