Hi I'm Eugene Takita

I'm a proud brother. I like scripture study. I`m a mormon.

About Me

I play the video games for much long. I realize that pretend shooting people everyday make me sad so I go and try to fix myself. I was born into this church but I'm actually just starting to learn how to be a "mormon". I want to learn portuguese. I am going on a mission to Fukuoka, Japan. I love the church. Eu quero aprender falar portugues. Eu vou para missao Fukuoka Japao. eu amo a igreja.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents never forced me to go to church, I went on my own. I know that the gospel principles taught in this church are true and will help me and my future family live wonderful lives.

How I live my faith

I believe that God really knows us and knows how we can improve. I also believe that since God says I can be as cool as him then I can do it. My trust comes from my personal relationship with Him. I know that the church is full of imperfect people but is the organization I have to be in to do what I have to do stuff.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Eugene Takita
Even though I was born in a Latter Day Saint home, I didn`t know exactly what a "testimony" was. It`s just like in a testimony in a court of law except for spiritual things. It doesn`t really have to be super formal. It`s just a spiritual statement like "God loves you" and is something that you know is true from experience. When a spiritual statement is confirmed by God, then it is a Testimony. You can always trust God since he`s a god of truth... so if what you say is true then you can count on him giving that confirmation like "yeah, it`s just like he/she said." Show more Show less
