Hi I'm Rebecca Wood

I love to paint, sing, and play the banjo. I love my Mom. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am studying art. I can paint for days. I love music more than most things in life. My favorite genres are indie rock, folk, classical, and alternative. As one of seven children raised in Utah Valley, I take pride in my Mormon stereotype. I love my family to the moon and back. My little sister is the light of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Book of Mormon. It is the rock of my testimony. When I read it I have questions answered, because someone is listening and speaking to me through the stories. I also have had personal experiences with using the Atonement (the sacrifice of Jesus Christ) to bring peace to my life. After I have repented I feel a burning in my heart, which I know to be the love of God. I know God loves us. That's why I am mormon.

How I live my faith

I love to paint my Savior and incorporate His teachings into my art work. Although he has been depicted many times by thousands of artists, I feel like I am fulfilling my calling here on earth by creating things that bring me and others closer to My Heavenly Father and His Son.
