Hi I'm Renae

I'm from a small town in Utah. I love sports and the outdoors. I'm the second youngest of 4 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've attended a year of school at Dixie State University in St. George, UT. I love all sports, especially tennis. I collect old coins and any funky ones as well. I play the cello and the piano, sort of. I love meeting new people and can make friends easily. I love foreign languages and hope to be able to speak many fluently. I love most animals, except spiders and misquitos

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When I started high school, I decided that I had to know if what I had been taught my whole life was true. I read the Book of Mormon all the way through for the first time and prayed about it. The Holy Ghost led me to a couple verses in the Book of Mormon, Mosiah 1:6-7. They told me that the proof that I was looking for was in my hands and that in order to be able to keep that faith and knowledge I needed to study them each day and keep the commandments of Heavenly Father. My senior year, my nephew died a few hours after he was born. It was really hard for me to accept that a little baby was taken from this earth so young. I struggled with it for quite a while. Finally I turned to my Father in heaven. I could feel His arms come around me and I felt such love and peace, I knew that my nephew was with Him and that he was happy. I knew that if I did what was asked of me here on earth that I would be able to live with him again, that I would be able to watch him learn and grow. I know that my family is eternal and that if I stay true to the covenants (promises) that I have made that I'll be with all my family again. I've received that personal witness from God and I'm not going to let anything get in my way of being with them again and in the presence of my Heavenly Father, who loves each of us beyond comprehension. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church on the earth today that is led by His prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I love this church and what it's done for me. I know it's true and centered on our Savior Jesus Christ, who suffered for each of us, not only our sins, but also our pains and sorrows and afflictions. I will forever be grateful for this act of love and will always strive to live up to my part and to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I'm currently a missionary in the Florida Tallahassee Mission. I study the scriptures and pray everyday.
