Hi I'm Connor

I'm a Mormon. A humanitarian, a missionary, and a friend.

About Me

I lived in Utah most my life until I lived in Mozambique, Africa for 10 months performing humanitarian and missionary work. That was one of the most valuable experiences of my life. I cannot describe how much I learned there but I can tell you it changed how I see the world, other people, and myself. I love MMA, reading, and just about everything else! I love trying new things, and I make sure I have fun no matter what I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ really lived, and He truly did atone and die for all of us and His great love for us. Not only that but I know He lives today. He did rise from his tomb and He did "break the bands of death". I know that the Book of Mormon is His book. He is the creator of it and it is of Him that the Book of Mormon Testifies. I know all this, and I also know that whatever religious background or whatever lack thereof, the Gospel and Teachings of Jesus Christ will bless and improve your life in every sense. It has brought me more knowledge and humility and peace than I can even account for, and my Savior means everything to me. There is nothing more important than Him and I love Him. That's a lot, but the simple answer is because its my source of happiness. Gotta love life, and Jesus makes that possible!

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a mission In the Kansas Wichita Mission! The greatest mission in the world. I get to serve the Lord 24/7 and I've never been happier!

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Connor
I love the Word of Wisdom, which is revelation from God given to the prophet Joseph Smith. It instructs us how to live the healthiest life possible and protect our spirits from the harmful addictive qualities of the substances it prohibits. I have seen its blessings in my life. I know the Word of Wisdom is from God and I know he desires everyone to follow it, and enjoy the blessings of a healthy body and a strong spirit. We are asked to abstain from tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea, and addictive and illegal substances. You can know for yourself that this is of God by reading the Book of Mormon and receiving an answer of its truthful nature by the power of prayer. Show more Show less
