Hi I'm Alexa Belle Tall

I love the gospel, I love my savior and I'm grateful for my eternal family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving in the Japan Tokyo South mission. I am trying my best to learn japanese and my mission is the most amazing experience. I am excited to serve the Lord and be an instrument in his hands to bring others to this true gospel. I have a passion for helping others and meeting new people. I love to listen to people share stories from their lives. I have faith that I can be the missionary that Heavenly Father needs me to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel is true. It has helped me constantly in my life. It's comforting to know that there is a plan and I have a divine role to play in this life. It's a very sacred and huge blessing to have a close relationship with my Heavenly Father. He knows us each individually and wants us to be happy and live with Him again. I have a testimony on families and how I will be with my family for eternity. When death occurs, although tragic, I know that it is only a short time until I see my loved ones again. Although I grew up in the church, with my parents as wonderful examples, I think that everyone goes through a conversion where you build your own testimony. This happened for me in high school when I read the Book of Mormon for the first time. I wanted to develop a relationship with my Heavenly Father. I wanted to know if what I was raised to believe was actually true and it is, without a doubt. I was able to pray and gain a testimony. Of course, I need to continue to nourish it but I know that this gospel is true and I'm so glad to believe what I do and have this unexplainable peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I grew up in this church. I attended BYU-Idaho for 2 semesters, where I majored in Human Biology. I was part of the activities committee in my singles ward. When I returned home from college to save money for my mission, I became active in my home ward as a CTR 4 Primary teacher, which I loved. I also had the opportunity to participate in many community service opportunities in my stake and even planned the ward Christmas party. Now I am serving a mission and am very grateful for this opportunity to dedicate time to the Lord.

What is being a Mormon like?

Alexa Belle Tall
As Mormons, we are seen as very different from the rest of the world. I have always been asked many questions about my faith and even teased about it. As members, we naturally stand out - whether it's because we don't swear or drink coffee, or it's because there is "something about us." My teacher commented on how I always seem "genuinely happy." Being a Mormon is a life style to help us each reach eternal salvation. To put simply, it is genuine happiness. Show more Show less
