Hi I'm Stan

I'm a Mormon. I'm a father and a grandfather.

About Me

I'm a businessman and happily married. My most valued treasure is my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the Book of Mormon, prayed about it and asked God if it was true. I received an overwhelming confirmation from the spirit that this book was from God. Because it is true, like the Bible, then it is proof that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God. Because Joseph Smith was a prophet, all he said and did was directed from God. The Lord directed Joseph Smith to reorganize His Church again on the earth exactly how is was organized by the Savior when He lived upon it. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's kingdom on earth today, and His authority to perform eternal ordinances is here again. Because I live my religion and want Heavenly Father to be first in my life, I strive to be a better husband and father. I want to be the best I can be. I want my family to know they are so important to me. I also know that when I make mistakes, I can repent and through the atonement of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven and clean again. I know all of this is true. This Church and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life. I also have learned the purpose of this life and what can happen when I am obedient to the Lord in all ways. I have learned for myself this is all true. I know that everyone can also receive answers to prayers. We are God's children, and He loves us. If we ask with a sincere heart and with real intent, He will always answer our prayers. LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE OF THE MISSIONARIES. It will change your life.

How I live my faith

My wife and I recently returned to America after serving in Poland for three years as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (some call us the Mormon Church). It was one of the greatest events of my life. Like all members of the Church, we are not paid. We go and serve wherever called because we want others to experience and learn what really brings joy and happiness to life. I have learned when I put God and others first, I am happy; and my challenges aren't that big. I know that when I am obedient to God's commandments, I am happier and have peace in my life. My conscience is clean, and I can sleep at night. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives me and all members opportunities to live the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve others. When you lose yourself in serving others, you really do find yourself and who you are. There is great peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come. The restored gospel on the earth has enabled me to find it. When you see the missionaries (two young men in white shirts wearing name badges or two sharp young women missionaries), listen to their message. What they teach will change your life. It happened to me.
