Hi I'm Jose

I grew up in Mexico. I'm a father. I'm an engineering student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of six children. It has been great being part of a big family; it's never boring! I'm a father and also an engineering student. It's something challenging to balance school, family and work but seeing my daughter grow every day makes it worth it. As a boy, I fell in love with aircraft and hope that one that I can design them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family but as I grew old, I feel the need to know if what I had been taught was true. I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and prayed to God asking him to help me and received a confirmation of the truth by the Holy Ghost (Galatians 5:22-23). The essence of the Gospel of Christ is love and service to others, just like Jesus did. This is what the Gospel means to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. I also play the piano and organ at church, this is uplifting to me and others. I also try to show people with the way I live my life, the happiness that comes from following Christ and his teachings. Although I'm not perfect, I make a daily effort to live these teachings.
