Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a History and Political Science double major from Ohio. I love the 30s and 40s and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Fred Astaire and the song style of the 1930s and 40s. Someday I hope to work in presidential libraries and museums. My passion is with American history and political science. I have four siblings, including a twin sister! It's been hard being away for college, but it has made me appreciate my family so much more. Utah has offered so many opportunities for me to go hiking and to spend time outdoors, which has been a great experience!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ! I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's church and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. The Book of Mormon and Bible support each other and together confound false teachings. Reading the Book of Mormon has changed my life in so many ways! I show my love for Christ by reading his scriptures and applying their principles in my daily life. The Book of Mormon has taught me how to love others and to love myself. I love His words! The sacrament is a weekly reminding of His sacrifice for me and I cannot imagine life without His love. He does so much for me and His Spirit lifts me up and testifies of the truth of His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in my calling and attending weekly church service. I help my ward members with family history and temple attendance. I love the temple! I also attend our stake's weekly religion classes and that way I get to learn more about Christ and his holy prophets. I live my faith by praying and reading the scriptures everyday. I know having a prayer in your heart is an important way to live close to God.
