Hi I'm Kelsi

I'm a small town girl, loving my faith while getting an education!

About Me

My name is Kelsi! I grew up in a small farm town for most of my life. I was born into a 'Mormon' Christian home. Growing up in a small town where I learned to love the outdoors. Someday I plan to live on a farm with a horse, a donkey and a husky, where I can enjoy the outdoors everyday! I have a love for imagination and creativity. I love taking an idea and making something beautiful from it! Because of this I am working to become an Interior Designer. I am love learning on how to bring my creativity to life.

Why I am a Mormon

I Choose to be Mormon because of the idea that life is more than just life here on Earth. It is a spiritual journey where we come to learn and grow so we can prepare ourselves to live with a loving Father in Heaven. I love the understanding I have gained of Jesus Christ. Through seeking out what I believe I was able to understand the Atonement and learn to rely on my Savior Jesus Christ. By serving a mission I have learned the truth of my faith. I received the truth by asking God. Because of this I have witnessed many others in my journey to come unto Christ and feel of his love! I know that Jesus Christ's Church was restored to the Earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith and because of this restoration many truths that have been restored. It is because of these truths I live my faith to the best of my ability so I can be with my family forever! This is why I choose to be Mormon!

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church can be different for everyone. For myself I never had a full understanding of the teachings, but I knew that going to church and reading my scriptures was important. It wasn't until my brother began to prepare to serve a mission, that I began to seek understanding about my faith and began my journey of conversion. I had the privilege of serving as a full time missionary in the Canada Vancouver Mission under the direction of President K. Tilleman. Serving a mission has allowed me to share my beliefs, talents, and conversion story to others. It was the best experience helping people build their relationship with Christ. It is a blessing to serve as a missionary and meet people and their different ways of life and how Heavenly Father has blessed them and their family.
