Hi I'm Ashley Gilvarry

College Student. Future Missionary. Lover of all things Chocolate. I love laughing and having fun! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to dance, be outdoors, talk, laugh, and spend time getting to know anyone and everyone! I am a student at Utah State University and have been called to serve a mission in San Jose, California speaking Spanish! I love this gospel and am so grateful to be a part of it. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I LOVE it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me so so happy! I have found a peace in living the gospel that has made getting through the hard times in my life that much easier. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, lives. He is my very best friend and has lifted me up and been there for me through every trial I have faced. I believe in His teachings and know that only through Him, and His Atonement, can I return to live with my Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because I have seen the positive effect that living the principles of the gospel has brought to my own life, and the lives of others. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who restored this beautiful gospel, through the prophet Joseph Smith, to bless the lives of so many people on this earth. I have read the Book of Mormon and cannot deny the truthfulness of it. It is the most correct book on this earth, through it I have grown so much closer to my Savior, and so can you. I am a Mormon because I know with all my heart that this is the only true church on this earth. The blessings it has brought into my life are indescribable. I would be nowhere without the gospel in my life, and I am so grateful to be a member of this amazing church!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live my life in the example of Jesus Christ, and striving to become a better person every day. I have found that serving others, reading my scriptures, and praying to my Heavenly Father brings me more joy than anything else in this life. By living the commandments, following the guidance of the prophets, attending the temple, and finding ways to share the gospel with others, I have become happier than I ever could have imagined. I am so grateful and proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My faith is everything to me, and I don't know what I would do without it!
