Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Utah.I love to ski, make new friends, and cook. I will soon be serving the Lord in Chile. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I've lived in Utah all my life and I have a good family that I love dearly. We have our ups and downs at times but we make it through. I'm attending college right now and am majoring in special education and elementary education but this summer I will be serving the Lord on a mission in Chile. I love snow skiing in the beautiful Utah mountains. I love hiking and camping with my family. We often go on long road trips in the summer and travel around the states. I love traveling and seeing the different cultures everywhere you go. Its fun to see new people and how different everyone is.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church all my life and have come to know of the truthfulness of this gospel. This past summer I had a trial come about in my life that made me really question if I believed in this gospel. I didn't understand why I needed it and what it did for me. As I began to ponder these thoughts of doubt I began to pray to the Lord. I sincerely cried out to him for help because I was lost in this world and I didn't know what to do. At first sincerely praying was extremely hard for me. How could I put my trust in someone I could not even see? But as I continued praying and trusting that there was a God I came to realized that there really is a God that Loves me and knows me by name. The answer did not come quickly or how I assumed it would come. It took much time, faith and trust. Everyone feels the spirit differently. Each child of God is unique and speaks to our Heavenly Father in different ways. For me it is happiness. Others it may be a burning in the bosom, or a knowing that you can't deny. At first I was expecting something like an overwhelming feeling to come over me but as I opened my eyes and really listened to the spirit I got my answer. It didn't come all at once but rather a little at a time. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days is true without a doubt in my mind. I honestly don't know what I would do without it. The truth of this gospel brings me so much happiness and comfort. Knowing that a have a Heavenly Father who loves me and a brother who suffered and died for me brings me great joy. I can't wait for the day that I will be able to stand in their presence again. I am happy to say that I will be serving a full time mission in Santiago Chile. I can't wait to share the truth and knowledge that this gospel gives me to others. Christ is our savior and redeemer and I love him with all my heart. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I will soon be serving the Lord on a mission in Santiago Chile. I am so excited to be given this opportunity to share something I love and cherish so much with others. The truth that I have learned and know has brought me so much joy and comfort in my life, my hope is to be able to help bring that joy and truth into other peoples lives.
