Hi I'm Tricia

I grew up a church gypsy of sorts. I was always searching for truth. I have found it! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town with many churches. I have been a member of quite a few of these churches. I believe that The Spirit of Truth will testify to you wherever you may find yourself. Little did I know my Father in Heaven was preparing me all along the way to discover His Church. I was touched by small and simple Gospel truths throughout this journey. For nearly a decade, I had experiences that would bring me closer to accepting the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. When the truth was presented to me, by true messengers of the Lord, the missionaries, I felt a "peace that passeth understanding." I felt the Spirit testify to me the truth I had been searching for. It was familiar. It was an answer to my prayers. It was my truth. I am a daughter of God. I am married to my eternal companion. I am a mother to two future missionaries. I am a convert. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I believe in Christ! His earthly ministry was to serve, heal, love, prepare and organize His Church. He has done that! This is the true and living Church upon the face of the earth today. We have a living Prophet, Thomas S. Monson who is truly the mouthpiece of the Lord. We have Apostles who testify of Jesus Christ. We have the authority to baptize, to preach, and to save! I am Mormon! I know it! I live it! I love it! And you can know it too! Ask me, ask your friendly mormon neighbors, ask the missionaries, ask God. The promise is true. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Matthew 7:7

How I live my faith

"Don't shine so others can see you. Shine so that through you, others can see Him." I love this saying. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we make a promise at baptism to take the name of our Savior Jesus Christ upon us. That means that we are to love as He loves, serve as He serves, and share the message of hope, light and good news with everyone. We are one family. Our Heavenly Father wants us all to make it back home to Him. Christ came to show the way. He has set the perfect example. As I study the scriptures I come to know Him. Through opportunities to serve in church and in my community, I live my faith. I feel charity, which is the pure love of Christ in my heart. I want to be like Him. Each day in prayer, I ask the Spirit to be with me, to be the Light in me, so others can see Christ. I find the best way to live my faith is by being of good cheer. Smile. Share. Serve. It's really that simple!
