Hi I'm Michael D. Royall

I was born in Salt Lake City, grew up in CA., went to high school in the S.L. Valley. I'm an artist H.S. art teacher.

About Me

I am an empty nester with two grown Daughters and married (since April of 2012) to a wonderful woman from Taiwan who was converted to the church by missionaries. I am an artist specializing in landscapes. I ride motorcycles and have done for over 40 years. I built my own little motorcycle shop so I can work on my bikes. I like to cook and bake and am not too bad at it. I grow many of my own fruits and vegetables, also canning and preserving them for my family's use. I have traveled the United States extensively and been to Canada and Mexico. I have a B.S Degree in art and a MEd. in instructional technology, both from Utah State University. I read a lot. I am blessed with a happy and loving spirit, but I can be harsh and unthinking about others feelings if I'm not careful. I started life out on the wrong track. and spent many years trying to find my way back. I am a recovering addict with over 25 years clean time. I'm thinking that I'm pretty much headed in the right direction these days, but there's always room for improvement.

Why I am a Mormon

I came into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of the Joesph Smith Story. In the which he had a vision and spoke to God face to face. Because of experiences I had, and have, I obtained a personal testimony that this event actually occurred. I remain in the Church for the same reason. It is my faith and testimony that God spoke and does speak to man on the earth, that being the case where else could I be? If you are in search of the truth, I invite you to investigate, with an open heart and real intent. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I attend my meeting regularly and do my best to maintain a lifestyle of good values. I teach in church once a month and have three families in my congregation that I visit every month just to check and see how they are doing and let them know that they are thought of. Also when I am able to perceive that someone needs help I render that if possible or try to find a solution that would help. I pay my tithing (10%) on my increases and sometime donate other monies to help feed and cloth the poor and needy.

What is the First Vision?

Michael D. Royall
For me the first vision was an epic event that changed the world in order that the truth about God may once again come into the knowledge of men. Show more Show less
