Hi I'm Jacob Manriquez

I'm growing up in Southern California in a home of a single mother. I will be the first one to be an Elder. I am Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies are to read self-improvement books, exercise, hang out with friends, and just have a good time. I am a son of divorced parents. I am currently in High School, waiting to be the second to get a high school degree and first one to go off to college and become a missionary in the church. I have strive to be academically successful, trying to be noticed by prestigious colleges/universities. I do my best in everything I can and i have fun doing it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because the promises given if we follow and become true disciples of the Lord are so great not even the smartest or greatest of all humankind can understand them. God has given us a chance to be like Him. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has given me the knowledge of the promises God has made unto his children, and those promises should not and will not be deprived from us. That is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I help random people. I smile at everyone I see. I heard an interview with a homeless person one time and they said, "the worst thing about being homeless is not the lack of a home or food, its that people just ignore me and that makes me feel that I don't exist, they take away my humanity." I try to make everyone feel that they mean something to the world. I help any way I can. I go and visit member and non-members of the church. I ask to help.
