Hi I'm Gina

I'm a world traveler, a passionate musician and a multi-discipline student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Great State of Montana, but the last few years of my life have taken me all over the world on adventure after adventure. From a musical goodwill tour to Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore, with a symphony of 90, to a largely solo trek on the European Continent, with only a backpack and the shoes on my feet, I have been blessed throughout my life with unbelievable opportunities to experience some truly incredible moments. Through it all, I have stayed close to my family, and spend time with my 6 younger siblings whenever I get the chance. Aside from travelling anywhere and everywhere I can manage, I thrive on music in many different forms. I play and sing as often as I can, and have found that one of the most effective ways to express myself. To utilize my love of travel, I am pursuing a degree in European Studies, although there is always room to change should something else come along. My other hobbies include reading, hiking, snowboarding, swimming, eating, and having spontaneous adventures. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Germany Berlin Mission, and could not be more happy to be serving in a land so dear to my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church and was blessed with the influence of parents who are steadfast in the gospel. I have dedicated myself to the gospel of Jesus Christ because I have felt and recognize the influence it has over my life. I find myself much happier and more satisfied with my life when I am following His gospel and when I am placing my life in his hands. I know with all my heart that the teaching of the gospel are true and that the principles therein are eternal. Throughout my life I have seen the blessings that I have received by being faithful to the teachings of Christ's gospel and my life is continually enriched when I follow Him. I love my family and want to be with them throughout all of eternity, something that I know will come if we continue to live the gospel. I cannot emphasize enough the love and inner peace that I feel when I am living according to the gospel and the joy which fills my life even through times of hardship. There is no comparison to any feelings that I could attempt to create on my own, and this pure happiness comes from the pure love of Christ and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full-time missionary, which means that I have put my schooling and career on hold for 18 months. I am incredibly blessed and humbled to have the opportunity to share my beliefs on a full-time basis. I have many friends around the world who know that I am a member of the LDS church and with whom I am able to share my values and beliefs. I also have a blog which I use not only to chronicle major life events, but also to share uplifting stories and messages to those who I connect with through my communication home. I love sharing the gospel and sharing the love of Christ with everyone. My hope is that everyone can feel loved and realize that they have a purpose and a place in this world.
