Hi I'm Brooke

I am a proud Utah State Aggie. I am a chocolate lover. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman at Utah State. I grew up in El Paso, Texas I moved to Salt Lake my sophomore year of high school but I'm still a Texan at heart. I have a passion for basketball and sports. If there is any competition I'll be there! I enjoy snuggling up to read a book, my favorite author is Nickolas Sparks. I love going to church and learning more about my personal connection to Jesus Christ. I have a firm testimony of the hope and healing He brings to my life. I am a big sister to 3 little brothers and sister. I love spending time with my family and friends. I can't wait to one day find a husband and be a loving mother to my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am always uplifted when I attend church and can feel my faith grow stronger. I have been a member of the church my whole life and am inspired by all the people in my ward who radiate the light of Christ. Being a member of the church helps me become a better person and influences me to make better decisions in life. It gives me great amounts of hope and peace when I'm in rough patches of life. I proudly live the standards of the church and do my best to share the gospel. I have felt the spirit many times in my life. I love the spirit I am able to feel in my home because of this gospel. My family is happier as we live the gospel. I know that as I do my personal scripture study and prayers that I am coming closer to my Heavenly Father. I am able to receive answers to prayers and create a personal connection to God that has blessed me so much in the decisions and paths I choose to take in my life.

How I live my faith

I love being a friend to everyone I meet. Kindness goes a long way and the best way to follow Christ is to be caring and kind to others. I also love serving others. There are many church planned activities that give great opportunities to serve the people in the community. I pray to God everyday and do my best to follow His commandments.
