Hi I'm Robyn Reynolds

I grew up and was raised in the DC area. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work Fulltime and have been since 1996. I did not go to college. I had thought about it but discovered that working just works better for me. In my spare time, I read, write poetry and watercolor.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it fits my lifestyle and because my life has changed so much since. I have also discovered that the way I chose to live my life fits in with what the Mormon faith believes. I am better able to read people's emotions and tell when someone else's spirits need lifting. I have always been good at that but it has gotten stronger since joining the church and receiving the Holy Ghost. I was baptized in November of 2013, after many discussions with the missionaries. My attitude toward life has always been to press forward. Life is full of new things and change, although sometimes scary, can be a positive thing, especially with Him by your side.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures, pray and listen to a hymn or two as I am driving to work. It helps me get ready to begin the day. I also rely on the Holy Ghost and our Heavenly Father to help me through trials. On the tough days He is the strength that gets me through. On good days, he is my song. On all the days in between His hand is stretched out still. I also try to help anyone in my ward/branch who may need it. I am currently involved in the ward as a visiting teacher supervisor. I was proud to get this calling, especially being a relatively new convert.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Robyn Reynolds
Mormon Missionaries proselyte to find people who maybe interested in learning about Jesus Christ, the Church and the gospel. One of my favorite quotes I have heard is Missionaries leave their families for a time so others can be with theirs for eternity. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Robyn Reynolds
No - Missionary work is voluntary, which is one of the reasons I have a lot of respect for Missionaries, not just the ones I have worked with but all those out there. It is a big decision to decide to go on a mission, especially at just 20 years old. Show more Show less
