Hi I'm Adam

I'm a returned missionary, an ultimate frisbee and soccer fanatic recovering from a torn ACL, a physicist, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in California, but I was raised and have lived most of my life in Boise, ID with my family, which consists of me, three brothers, one sister, my parents, and a crazy, brown labradoodle. Music is a passion of mine, especially singing, which has been a way for me to feel the Holy Ghost in my life. For me, music is a way that I can accurately express all of the complex emotions that I feel as a human being, and as a result, I believe that music is one of the few means through which people can truly learn to understand one another. I am now studying Applied Physics at BYU with an emphasis in Acoustics. I'm an inquisitive person by nature so I love learning, and I am constantly seeking for further knowledge about the workings of the world in which we live and all of the many cultures, customs, and human dynamics that make humanity so diverse. Sports have played an integral part of my personal and physical development until, in February 2017, I completely tore my ACL and partially tore my lateral meniscus playing soccer. While I wasn't a professional or even a collegiate athlete, sports and exercise were possibly the biggest outlets to stress that I had in my life, and in the life of an aspiring student pursuing a degree like Applied Physics, stress is more of a given than a possibility. I still struggle to find something wholesome to push me and benefit those around me, but I've feltGod guiding me to find other paths and other talents that I didn't even know existed.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because of my faith in Jesus Christ, the power of His Atonement, and that God has a plan for all of us to return to live with him. I believe that each and every one of us has a divine potential, and by living as Christ and the prophets in the scriptures taught, our lives will be enriched and blessed. I have a firm testimony in the power of faith, and I know that by acting in faith and trusting in God, we can achieve all that God has planned for us,

How I live my faith

By helping the people around me understand the love that God has for all us and by striving to be a faithful disciple of Christ. We all are given certain trials and opportunities in this life, and I constantly strive to live my life in a way that makes the most of these opportunities. We only get one shot at life and so it's our responsibility to make the most of this wonderful life that God has given us. I live my faith by striving to make everyone around me the best that they can be. I know that God has an eternal plan for each and every one of us, and through this plan, we all have limitless potential. It pains me see people who wander through life with no purpose and no hope for anything better. They have nothing to live for and no desires to drive them towards bigger and better things. Their lives are spent wallowing in despair and confusion, but I know that we are capable of so much more. I am living my faith by serving a full-time mission, and through my effort, I hope to bring as many as will listen to a knowledge of our Savior, even Jesus Christ, to a knowledge of God's infinite love, and a knowledge of our own divinely given potential.
