Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Nebraska, I am the first in my family to join. Now I have a much larger family.

About Me

I am a father of 8 children. I have lived in Nebraska most my life. I joined the church on my own when I was 18yrs old. I am a fan of music, cinema and many genre of print.

Why I am a Mormon

I had come from a conservative religion in my childhood; and at a young age I started to investigate many different religions. When I came upon the LDS church I was amazed at how welcoming it was and I had been living my life already like a member to some aspects. I faced up to adversity in joining from my family and friends and the more I read about the church and prayed the more I felt the spirit directing me to join. Needless to say after 20+ years of living as a member I have a much bigger family!

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

The temple is a chance to gain a closer experience to god in his service, and to learn the sacred duties that he has given us on earth. To be able to go to the temple you must purify yourself in a way to set yourself up for personal insight, and spiritual direction. A much deeper personal relationship with god. The church is a place of worship were you can meet to pray, study and partake of the sacrament; where you can practice the priesthood or take part in service to others. Show more Show less
