Hi I'm Kara

I am a college student in Idaho who loves music, biology, and running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying Exercise Physiology in a small town in Idaho. I come from a big family, and I love spending time with them. I love being outdoors and doing anything from hiking, biking, to river rafting and canoeing. I also love exercising, but mostly running. I ran my first marathon last summer, and that was an amazing experience. Music is another big part of my life, and I play the flute and piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me more happiness than I have found anywhere else. It gives me purpose in life, and helps me remember that there is more about life than just getting by. It is about becoming better, and learning how we can use the power of Christ to become the type of people that we want to become. It gives me hope, and provides a way that I can be with my family for forever. There is nothing that brings me more joy than that.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a president of a small group of young adult women in our church. With this assignment I help the women study about and be involved in the gospel. It has been a really cool experience, because it is giving me the opportunity to get to know the people around me on a personal level. It also gives me the chance to feel love for others, more than I could possibly feel on my own.
