Hi I'm Annie

I am a sister to 9, aunt to 1 and friend to lots. I love the outdoors, laughing is what I do best and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello there! Well my life is pretty simlple. I was born and raised in the good ol' state of Colorado. I have 6 brothers and 3 sisters, each of which I couldn't live without. I love the outdoors and being active... hiking, snowboarding, being on the water, going on adventures, and yes... even running, you name it! Most of all I love to just have fun. I attended BYU-Idaho for a year and a half and there decided to serve a mission. So, here I am! I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the California Rancho Cucamonga mission. It is by far the best decision I have made in my life, it has made me so happy to be able serve others every day!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family that are all members of the church. Just like most kids, growing up I depended on my parents testimony and relied on them to keep me going. However it came to a point where I needed and wanted to know for myself if this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and if this really was Christ's church. I did as Moroni tells us in the Book of Mormon, I asked God if these things were true. The answer didn't come at once so I kept praying, I knew God would answer eventually. Finally, I received my answer. I came to know for myself that the Book or Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was Christ's true church. Since then my testimony has continued to grow. I know that it is because of the Gospel in my life that I am happy. The Gospel only brings happiness and peace to all who live it. I know it is how we can find peace in in hard times. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can become better and better each day. I am a Mormon because I KNOW without a doubt that it is the only true church on the earth today, because of the joy and peace it brings and because I couldn't live happily without it.

How I live my faith

There are many different ways I live my faith. However I think the biggest thing is that I try to be like Christ. We are told we need to be "an example of the believers..". I try my best to be a good example to everyone around me. There are so many people that are watching and paying attention to everything we do, so I believe it is very important to always act as Christ would and let others see the light of Christ in you. Although I am far from perfect I know that every day I can strive to be better.
