Hi I'm Jackie

I'm from Utah. I'm currently a college student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying Elementary Education and have enjoyed it thus far. I'm recently engaged and can't wait to marry my best friend! My hobbies include running and spending time with family and friends. I'm also a small town girl, I love the country and about everything that goes with it. Basically I love where I am from and the people around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in a Mormon family but that is not the only reason I am a Mormon. From the time I was little , I felt the things that I was taught at church to be true. There was a special feeling every time I attended church on Sunday. Every now and again I have questions or doubts, but through prayer, scripture study, and personal experiences, I know this gospel to be the only true gospel on this earth. The gospel of Jesus Christ is what has brought me the most happiness in the life. I know that our Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ love each and every one us very much. I know this gospel to be true. I know that families can be together forever through His eternal plan. I know that Christ suffered and died for all of our sins and knows exactly how we feel and what we are going through. He wants to help us if we will just let him into our lives. Christ is the light and life of this world and I know these things to be true.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is by expressing Christlike love to all. Sometimes all people need is a hand of friendship and love outreached towards them. I have found that loving everybody as God loves them is the best way to express my beliefs and values. Intertwined with love is charity and that is another way I live my faith by helping those in need whether it be an uplifting text or a listening ear. Charity doesn't always have to be extravagant, sometimes people just need others to be there. Another way I live my faith is by strengthening my faith to help others who struggle with theirs. I can express to them the love Christ has for all and what the gospel has done for me and what the gospel can do for them.
