Hi I'm Jessica Gardner

I'm a BYU student with a love for children, fruit, Bing Crosby, impressionism art and long distance running. Also, I'm Mormon.

About Me

Currently, I am in college at UVU but trying to get into my dream college, BYU. I'm am the only girl in my family, surrounded by three brothers. My mother is a teacher and because of her I love children and working with them. I love to collect vintage anything and secretly wish I was born in the 1950's. I play the organ and piano and am still figuring out life. But hopefully most other people are as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because this gospel is true. Life is hard and the gospel of Jesus Christ allows me to find peace and comfort. I recently had a close family member pass away and I am so grateful to have the knowledge that families are eternal. This church helps me live a life that is Christ-centered, where I can rise above worldly influences and feel the Spirit. It is a blessing in my life that I take for granted so much but for which I am eternally grateful for.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my example. In my hometown, I was one of very few LDS and it gave me the chance to uphold high standards and share why I live them with others around me. Even now that I am in a large LDS population, I still have the chance to show and share why I do not change my values to fit in.
