Hi I'm Doug

I was born in Oregon and moved to Utah with my family when I was 4 years old. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love the summers in Utah. The Mt. biking, camping and hiking are amazing. The winters are cold but my back-country and down-hill skiing make it tolerable. We have a garden in the backyard and enjoy growing organic food.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it is the best way to serve my God and my Family and my Fellowman. If we believe in Christ then we must love our Neighbors as ourselves. This is not always easy but always the right thing to do.

How I live my faith

Overs the years I have served in many Scouting positions. Scout Master, Varsity Coach and Venture leader. It has been fun to use my love of the outdoors with the youth in my community. I know there are alot of challenges in the Scouting program at the moment. It is a great organization that teaches love for God and our fellowman and the beautiful World God has created by us.

This all made sense to me that the people in South America were Show more Show less
