Hi I'm John Pulsipher

I was born and raised a Mormon, and my ancestors back to the early and mid 1800s were all Mormons as well.

About Me

I'm a father and grandfather, with an immediate familiy size of 19, ranging in ages in the 60s (me!) to an infant grand-daughter. My family is the joy of my life and I try to stay connected, even with most of them living in other parts of the United States. I served in the United States military for 21 years and have been working as a civilian contractor (engineer) for the defense department since I retired from the Air Force in 1998. I have stayed active and enjoy running, hiking, biking, skiing and other outdoor activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon, because of the hope our doctrine and beliefs bring to my life. The formal name of our church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As such, we all try to maintain a personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. I do believe he is a living God, and is trying to be a blessing in all our lives, whether we believe in him and his teachings or not because he loves all God's children unconditionally.

How I live my faith

I have served in many capacities in the Mormon church during my life, including leader of a congregatoin (bishop), scout leader, and teacher in Sunday School and in our childrens' and youth (teen-aged) organizations.
