Hi I'm Moriah

I work on cars. I ride horses. I love to make music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside and around animals. I am a Biology major and love to learn new things. My family is my life and I am eternally grateful for their support and love in my life. Music plays a big role in my life, I play many instruments and enjoy singing as well. I am a lifeguard and have been for years, so I also love the water!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe we can all agree that life on earth is far from easy. But He has prepared a way for us to return to Him and a way to be happy whilst here on earth- that is His ultimate goal, our happiness. What does the Gospel mean to me? The Gospel means peace in a world of confusion and chaos. The Gospel means hope when we are surrounded by fear, despair, and pain. The Gospel means mercy for all that we repent of… even if it is over and over again. The Gospel means unity- the world says that there are times we must stand alone but we are blessed to know that we are never alone, we are never left comfortless. The Gospel means knowledge of who we are, what we have to look forward to after this life, of what truly matters, and who we were before we were blessed with our body and came to this earth. The Gospel means love; unconditional, true, and stronger than we can even fathom. It is interesting to me that we tend to run away from the Lord during times of pain, and struggle, at times when we seem to lose ourselves or at least lose all that we have ever considered to be ourselves. Those are the times when we should be clinging to Him and communing with our Heavenly Father constantly- pleading for His guidance and security. And yet- we run away. Hide within ourselves and maybe even give up that little bit of hope that we were hanging on to. There is no one who knows us better, no one who can better relate to the feelings of pain, heartache, sickness, unworthiness, anger, hatred, frustration, depression, worry, than our Savior Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. They have stood where we stand, they have felt what we feel. They know the end from the beginning, they know our end from our beginning. They know you. Personally. Fully. Completely. And they love you without ceasing.

How I live my faith

I work hard to be an active member of my ward. Working closely with my leaders, I can find those that I am able to lift. In the past I have taught Sunday School, been the leader of the women's organization in our ward, coordinated the music and set up other ward activities.
