Hi I'm Drew Cannon

I am a Mormon. I currently living in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. I like critters, outside activities, and I'm horsey.

About Me

My profession has been Social Work. During my career I have been fortunate in working in a number of places in the united states, Europe, and Africa where I helped develop Mental Health and Substance Abuse programs for employees and dependents of the corporations for whom I worked. My wife and I have seven children, one daughter and six boys who have now given us 14 grandchildren to love. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Graduated East High School and completed my graduate work at the University of Utah. Go Utes! Our family gets together each summer at our Summer Home located 17 miles east of Oakley, Utah where and spent my summers as youth. The Oakley Rodeo is still the best which we attend each 4th of July.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it makes sense! I have investigated other faiths in my life and find that the restored gospel contains the fullness of what this life is about. The Gospel gives me purpose, hope and happiness. I find that the Gospel, as taught in the LDS faith, has depth that other beliefs lack. And, I feel the Spirit of Christ who has testified to me of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, the Restoration, and the Meaning of our lives.

How I live my faith

I do the best that I can to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in all my affairs. I have held several positions in the Church but see us all as brothers and sisters working together to do better in life and gain the peace and serenity promised in the Gospel. I realize that we are ALL from the same stem-cell in this life which provides a commonality for all of us to relate, regardless of culture, beliefs and backgrounds.
