Hi I'm Ben Kenney

I Like Photography, Skiing, I'm Adopted, and I'm A Mormon

About Me

I was born in St.George, Utah. I was adapted at birth. My early childhood was spent in North Ogden, Utah. My family moved to Pleasant View, Utah around the time I was about 5, where I live now. Throughout my teenage years I really was interested in making videos, skiing, mountain biking, and later photography. I attended Weber High School When I was in High school I had the opportunity to work at 2 ice cream shops. When I graduated from high school I got a job at a Journeys shoe store, where I later got promoted to co-manager, and helped manage a store. Throughout jr. High and High School I didn't have a real strong testimony. It wasn't til after I graduated out of high school when I realized how much the gospel blesses my life, my family, and my friends lives. I realized how much God loves us and I had to change. I changed for the better, and I will never turn back. My Conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ was not the easiest thing, but it was so worth it.

Why I am a Mormon

Im a Mormon because I was born into the religion. But there comes a time in your life where you need to have your own testimony of what you believe in. Not living off of your parents or your friends testimony. So I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. The Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion. I have seen the changes people make in their lives for the better to be part of this religion and the changes they make are life changing!!

How I live my faith

I believe that when your public religeous life, lines up with your private life, then your life is lined up with gods will. I live my faith, by simply living the simple truths of the gospel, the doctrine of Christ, which if we choose will bless, and change our lives. I go to church every week to renew covenants I have made with my Heavenly Father. When we have true faith we act and it leads us to serve. I love serving others, and when we truly seve others, it leads and guides us to become better. And we truly find ourselves.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Ben Kenney
The ONLY way you can know is if you go forward with a sincere heart and real intent. The book of Mormon is evidence that Jesus is the Christ, That Joseph Smith was able to translate the Book of Mormon with The Priesthood Power of God. Read in Moroni 10:3-5. If you read the book of mormon, ponder it in your heart, and ask god if it is true he will manifest the truth unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
