Hi I'm Olivia

I have grown up in Gilbert, Arizona. I go to Arizona State University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old and I love to spend time with my friends and family. I like to go camping, hiking, quading, and I love to swim. Basically, anything outdoors is my speed! I love to try new things, because I think the world is worth exploring. I currently work at a preschool within my local district as an aide in the classroom and those children light up my day without fail.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me greater than my own. Before I became a member I had felt as though I was missing something and that whatever it was that I was missing I was unable to find it on my own no matter how hard I had searched. I needed His help and I needed to trust in His plan. I began taking the lessons from the missionaries and decided that I needed to find out for myself if what they were teaching was true. I prayed to my Heavenly Father and sincerely asked him if what I had been taught was true and I received the undeniable answer that it was. A feeling of peace fell over me and I knew then that this is His true gospel that had been restored to the earth by the prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

Within my ward, I participate in visiting teaching which has strengthened my relationships with my fellow sisters as well as with Heavenly Father. I also serve as a Beehive advisor in the Young Women's organization. This means I get to teach the young women, who are about 12 to 13 years of age, about the gospel and help them in their own journey of faith. Teaching them strengthens my own testimony and knowledge of the truth of the gospel. It makes me so completely joyous to be able to help these girls on their way in faith.
