Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a graduate student, a lifelong Hokie and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have been in school for most of my life and I plan to continue that tradition when I become a high school teacher next year. I love History and learning about other countries in particular Russia and the Former Soviet Union. I enjoy all kinds of sports. I love Football especially my Virginia Tech Hokies. Even though I am short, I enjoy playing basketball and soccer. I enjoy playing the piano and the flute and listening to all kinds of music, in particular rock and country.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the love I fell from my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. In the stress of everyday life, I can feel the peace their love gives me when everything seems to be going wrong. The peace I find in my life when I make the time to really study my scriptures and understand what past and present prophets are trying to teach me helps me continue on. I love this gospel and know that Jesus suffered at Gethsemane for me. He took on all of my sins and died on the cross so I can return to Him one day.

How I live my faith

I attend a single adult ward and try to be as active as possible. I play the piano for the church and enjoy singing in the choir. I try and participate in our many activities, especially our service projects.
