Hi I'm Miriam

I'm a writer, teacher, wife and mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a part time exam prep tutor with a degree in English education, and a full time mom. Writing, crafting, and singing make me happy, and my husband and I love to cook, bake, and watch Doctor Who.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is never more happy or meaningful than when viewed through the lens of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. As I live these truths I am every day transformed into a better version of everything I am: better wife, mother, teacher, daughter, sister, neighbor, and the list goes on for miles. I know that Jesus Christ is the actual, living son of God the Father, and the literal Savior of the world. I know with a knowledge built on a foundation of absolute confidence that this is the true church of Jesus Christ, restored by him through the prophet Joseph Smith, and led today by a living prophet, Thomas Monson. I know that the blessings associated with the restoration are real. To me, the most beautiful and precious of these is the opportunity to live with our families forever, made possible in temples. My life, filled with joy and hope because of the gospel of Jesus Christ, is the only life I choose to live. I know these things are true, and I love to live them.

How I live my faith

My faith influences how I live each day, and guides the choices I make, leading me to the best ones. Through the church I receive opportunities for service. Most recently I have taught Sunday classes to a fun and energetic group of nine and ten year-old boys and girls.
