Hi I'm Kendra

I live in Utah. I love music, being out doors, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I play soccer, I love to sing and music is a huge part of my life. I love being and doing things outdoors from snowboarding in the winter to wakeboarding in the summer. I'm the youngest of five kids and I love to spend time with my family playing games and going to Lake Powell each summer. I attended USU for a semester but I'm currently not going because I'm putting my life on hold for 18 months to serve a mission in the Wisconsin, Milwaukee Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in this church and have always had a basic testimony and believed it to be true. When I was 15 years old my older sister was killed in a car accident. I remember feeling like my world was falling a part and not necessarily understanding why this was happening to me and my family. I prayed and read my scriptures so much during this time and every time I did I felt the spirit so strong and I KNEW that this gospel was true and that I would see my sister again because my savior made that possible for me. I know that my savior knew and understood what I was going through and that he comforted me in my time of need. This trial was definitely one of the hardest thing I've gone through in my life but it strengthened me and made me who I am today. This gospel makes me happy everyday and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

Throughout being in the young women program I held many positions in each presidency. I also was the camp director for girls camp and loved getting to know the young women in my ward and helping them to have spiritual experiences. While I was at college I had the opportunity to be a part of an Institute Choir called Latter Day Voices and loved being able to spread the gospel using music.
