Hi I'm Diane

I'm a convert and love being a Mormon.

About Me

I have a BA in elementary ed and teach CTR 7 in primary. I also teach scrap booking and card making through CTMH. I enjoy cooking and want to learn more about cooking with whole foods. My children are grown, but I am still a stay home mom and love it. My daughter is expecting her first child this year. I enjoy listening to and studying Carol Tuttle's material, especially her book Remembering Wholeness. I highly recommend it.

Why I am a Mormon

I had attended the ward Halloween party and I just loved the family feeling. I wanted that for my family. The programs this church offers are amazing, as are the online resources. It gives me hope in a world that sometimes doesn't offer much. I have learned that Heavenly Father is an active participant in our lives and truly wants us to experience Joy. And He teaches us how to overcome our weaknesses and turn them into strengths. It is through personal prayer, scripture study, service and gratitude that we can truly understand what this earthly adventure is truly about.

How I live my faith

One of the things I love about being a Mormon is that we are a Mormon every day of the week. I really live what is taught. Well I try to anyway... I teach the seven year old class at church on Sunday and love music time with the kids. and I love that those songs run through my head all week. I love having a church family that reaches out and helps when needed.
