Hi I'm Katelyn

I grew up in Oregon for most of my life. I currently attend BYU-I studying Photography and Vocal Performance.

About Me

My hobbies and interests include anything outdoors: hiking, boating, fishing, etc. I enjoy capturing all kinds of photography, but especially family, wedding, and senior portraiture (www.ribbons-and-bows.weebly.com). I minor in Vocal Performance-music is always a passion of mine. There are eight people in my family, and I love every single one of them. I hope to have a marriage like my parents someday. I am a college student at BYU-Idaho and loving every moment of it. I thrive in having a busy lifestyle and am very social and outgoing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church my whole life, however I grew to know the church was true myself and never felt pressure from my parents. I am a member because I feel that this church provides the correct doctrine and through it I can obtain true happiness. I feel like I am a part of something wholesome and beautiful. The church as well as my personal foundation is of Jesus Christ and I know that through Him, we can find peace and love. He is the perfect example of how we should live our lives. I know that my life is in God's hands and he knows what will make me the best I can be.

How I live my faith

I am a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love the gospel, and one of my favorite ways to share my testimony is through song. In high school, I was one of few members of the church. I quickly learned that whatever I do, I must stand strong.
