Hi I'm Christine

I'm a mother, animal lover and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of a beautiful daughter named Emma. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and believe in animal rights. I'm in school studying to work in hotel management and when I'm not studying for tests or cleaning up my house I love to watch movies and read the Book of Mormon. Missionaries knocked on my door when I was 30 yrs old and I let them in because I was looking for something bigger and more important in life. I love to learn from other people and hear what they believe and after listening to them I just knew it was something I wanted to be a part of, and BAM! 51 days later I was baptized.

Why I am a Mormon

First of all, to have the opportunity to have a relationship with my heavenly Father. To be able to feel his guidance and love for me every day, I just feel so blessed to have Him as a guide through life. The second thing that I thought was important was the family part. In these stressful times I see parents spending less and less time with their children and the society says that it's okay to think about yourself and let others like school and daycare, raise your children. I saw immediately what huge part families has in this church and I love that I was taught the standards and principles that the church believe in so I could raise my daughter this way. It teaches me how to live my life, to strive to be a better person and to follow Christ every day. For me the biggest part wasn't when I found out where we go after this life or where we came from, like I know that many people would like answers to, but for me it was when I realized that I could have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father and to know that I could be forgiven and become a better person.

How I live my faith

I am a secretary in the womens society in the church, and I'm a tutor in genealogy, which means I help people find their long lost relatives and help them to build a family tree. And of course I spend every Sunday in church with what I call my extended family.
